If you like your coffee like you like your martinis--cold, dark and full of flavor--you’ll like this low-ABV Espresso Martini. And even if you take your morning cup hot and black, you’ll still probably find something to like in this low-alcohol recipe that’s both bitter and sweet. Strong coffee, preferably chilled, can be subbed for the espresso if your machine is on the fritz.
1-1/2 oz. Ritual gin alternative
2 oz. coffee liqueur
1/2 oz. espresso
1/4 oz. simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.
