Our Tequila Alternative is tropical and earthy, lending balance and heat to a margarita. Our Whiskey Alternative is soft and smooth, round on the tongue, with a soul-warming finish. Our Gin Alternative is bright and refreshing, with a crisp bite that mixes beautifully. Our Rum Alternative has all the warm vanilla, toasted spice, and velvety decadence of dark rum. Our Aperitif Alternative is bright, bitter, and herbaceous with a spiced citrus finish.

Sure, you can tell the difference between Ritual and traditional liquor the same way you can tell the difference between a primo veggie burger and a cow. But Ritual has captured the essence of traditional tequila, rum, gin, and whiskey. And it has the bite you need as the foundation of a proper drink. At the end of the day, both deliver terrific experiences. Now you just have the choice.

Because it’s our most premium product to date. We’ve spared no expense to get our Aperitif Alternative to the top-notch quality we’ve all come to expect. We use a complex blend of all-natural botanicals and only the finest ingredients. The result? Possibly our favorite alternative yet. We hope you love it too!

First, we use all-natural botanical flavors (organic where we can get ‘em). “Botanicals” is a fancy word for “plants”; ours are distilled individually to lock in their purest flavor, then carefully blended to create a sophisticated profile. From Siberian pine to Mexican blue agave to American oak, we use the essences that make the spirits you love. The batches are microfiltered, and every bottle is date stamped for freshness. The result is a delicious alternative to delicious originals.

Our Gin, Tequila, and Aperitif Alternatives have no calories at all. Our Whiskey and Rum Alternatives have a few (5, to be precise), because, well, whiskey and rum are sweet. That sweetness comes from natural sugars, not unlike the sweetness of traditional whiskey and rum. There’s no gluten. No peanuts or tree-nuts. And again, it's non-alcoholic.

Nutrition labels round calories to the nearest 5, and our Gin and Tequila Alternatives both have about two calories from sugar. Hence, the zero. You’ll probably burn those two in the process of shaking your cocktail, though, if we’re splitting hairs.

Unlike many NA products, we are not an "alcohol removed" spirit. Ritual is crafted from the ground up, like cooking a great meal, and so never has proof to begin with.

Of course, scientifically speaking, alcohol occurs naturally in trace amounts in many foods and beverages. Fun fact: bananas have more alcohol in them than Ritual Zero Proof.

Trying to recreate the burn of alcohol is incredibly complicated — that's why we went through more than 500 recipes! The solution was a complex blend of all-natural botanicals to trick your taste buds. Some bring the heat while others rein it in, creating a satisfying glow that serves as the spine of a proper cocktail.

Our water is softened, carbon filtered and then RO filtered.

Our products are about 3.6pH.

Our standard bottles are 750ml.

Our products are alcohol and allergen free, enjoyed by many many pregnant women. But if you have any doubts given your unique health circumstances, we always suggest that you consult your doctor to be sure. You’ll find downloadable versions of our nutrition labels at the bottom of this page, for your physician’s review.

The flavor notes on the front of the bottle represent the premium botanical essences blended to form our profiles. In most cases, the flavor extraction process excludes allergens. Any that are left are in extremely small quantities that likely won’t trigger a reaction. With that said, we suggest that you consult your physician if you have any concerns.

That’s a very personal decision. Ritual is not a spirit with the alcohol removed. However, we worked as hard as we could to make these resemble traditional spirits. Everyone has their own recovery process, and literally the last thing we would want is for our product to serve as a trigger. That’s the opposite of what we’re about. So the best we can say is, you do you.

We are not a certified vegan product because we use traditional sugar.

Probably. Ritual has (almost) none of the empty calories of alcohol, so even if it doesn’t fit someone else’s specific regimen, it’s hard to argue against the benefits.

It’s important to us that you receive your order as quickly as possible. That’s why we automatically fulfill orders as soon as they enter our system. But our partners like USPS and UPS are experiencing longer than normal shipping times. If your package appears to be stalled in transit, please contact info@ritualbeverage.com and we’ll help you track it down.

That’s not cool. Please email us within 14 days of receiving your product. Include a photo of the damage and we will gladly issue a replacement or refund. We will also issue a refund for any unopened product within 14 days of receipt. Still unhappy? Reach out to us and we’ll make it right. info@ritualbeverage.com.

Unfortunately, carriers have tracking errors from time to time. Sometimes, customers will get a delivery notification but the package will show up a day or two later. Let us know if your order does not arrive 48 hours after your delivery confirmation and we'll look into it. Send an email to info@ritualbeverage.com along with your order number and we’ll be happy to help.

For years, we’ve covered the shipping costs on all our items. But due to our logistics partners raising prices, we will charge a small shipping fee for single bottle orders (while still eating some of that cost). The good news? We’ll still cover the entire shipping costs on orders of two or more bottles.

Yes! we currently ship internationally to 12 countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Switzerland, and the UK.

That’s the great part. We’re not some made-up flavor. You don’t have to buy exotic mixers or reeducate yourself on what’s in your glass. You use our Gin Alternative the way you use gin. You swap our Tequila Alternative into your favorite margarita recipe. Replace traditional rum with our Rum Alternative in your Pina Colada. If you know how to make an Old Fashioned, now you can make a non-alcoholic version with our Whiskey Alternative. Pour it neat, splash it on the rocks, mix it with tonic or juice. Or go nuts and make an elaborate ten-touch cocktail that will blow your hair back.

Nope. Ritual is good for 12 weeks after opening.

Between the hard-wired reward-response mechanism of our brain, and our enjoyment of things served in cocktail glasses, Ritual very often makes people feel like they’ve been drinking. Gotta love that placebo effect!
