Ritual Aperitif Alternative embodies the spirit of summer with its bright, bittersweet taste and spiced citrus finish. This non-alcoholic aperitif substitute combines the bitterness of Italian aperitivo with the sweetness of French vermouth. Highlighted by notes of orange blossom, Victoria rhubarb, and charred grapefruit, this herbaceous spirit alternative captures the essence of a traditional aperitif.

In a cocktail, of course! Our aperitif substitute is specially crafted to replace full proof aperitif in popular drinks like a Negroni or Spritz. Ritual Zero Proof is not meant to be consumed neat or on the rocks, but if you’re in a pinch we recommend drinking our spirit alternatives in bubbly water.

Our products contain less than 0.5% ABV. By legal definition we’re non-alcoholic.

Nutrition labels round calories to the nearest 5, and our aperitif substitute has only about two calories of sugar. Hence, the zero.

There are several classic Ritual aperitif recipes that we love to drink, but perhaps the most enticing one is the famed Negroni! For this drink, you’ll need:

• 1 1/2 oz. Ritual Aperitif Alternative
• 1 1/2 oz. Ritual Gin Alternative
• Garnish: orange

Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add 1.5oz of Ritual Gin Alternative and 1.5oz of Ritual Aperitif Alternative. Stir the ingredients in the mixing glass for 20-30 seconds until well combined. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange peel, and you’re ready to serve!
