TUNES AND ‘TAILS

Ritual Zero Proof Alcohol Free Spirits Non-alcoholic spirits

Maybe it’s your way to relax after a hard day’s work. Or it’s your pre-game tradition with friends. Whether you’re rocking Sonos speakers or playing from your laptop, there’s nothing like bumping some tunes and knocking back cocktails. But why not sync your drinks with your music genre of choice? We recommend these music and cocktail pairings, and since they’re non-alcoholic beverages, you can keep that music high going without the comedown. As always, we encourage you to get creative and brainstorm your own combinations!

Gin Fizz and Jazz

First up, a dual salute to the city of New Orleans, both the birthplace of jazz and the Gin Fizz. We make ours zero proof with our gin replacement, and you can use egg whites or aquafaba (chickpea juice) to achieve that signature froth. Crank up the Louis Armstrong and shake up a batch of these, and you’ll be immediately transported to the Big Easy.

2 oz. Ritual Gin Alternative
3/4 oz. lemon juice
3/4 oz. simple syrup
1 egg white (optional)
2 oz. soda water (or enough to fill)
Lemon peel for garnish

Pour the Gin Alternative, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (or aquafaba) into a shaker. Shake for 30 seconds. Add ice. Shake for another 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled highball glass over fresh ice cubes. Top with soda and garnish with lemon peel.

Gin & Juice and 90s Hip-Hop

Thanks to the one and only Snoop Dogg, Gin & Juice has achieved hip-hop glory in a way few other cocktails have. The drink is as simple as the name sounds, but deceptively delicious. We make ours no abv with Ritual Gin Alternative, but we still call it Gin & Juice for simplicity’s sake. Bump some of your favorite classics from the G-Funk era and start mixing. Red Solo cup encouraged. Laid back.

2 oz. Ritual Gin Alternative
2 oz. orange juice
2 oz. pineapple juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake shake shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with an orange wheel.

John Collins and the Phil Collins catalogue

Though the two men have no relation as far as we know, drinking a John Collins while listening to 80s pop legend Phil Collins just makes sense. The whiskey-based John Collins is a classic cocktail that predates the more famous gin-based Tom Collins— which happens to pair equally well with Phil Collins music. We make ours zero proof, opting for our whiskey alternative instead of the whiskey. Now take a sip and turn up that signature Phil Collins bop or ballad. Just make sure to put your drink down before busting out that drum fill on “In the Air Tonight.”

2 oz.  Ritual Whiskey Alternative
1 oz. lemon juice
½ oz. simple syrup
2 oz. club soda
Maraschino cherry and orange slice for garnish

Pour the Whiskey Alternative, lemon juice and syrup into a collins glass with ice. Stir thoroughly. Top with club soda. Garnish with cherry and orange slice.
